Grocery Grams

Grocery grams are groceries or grocery gift cards donated to a refugee family facing acute food insecurity. With many grocery stores offering digital gift cards, all it takes is three clicks and 30 seconds. Here’s how it works:

• Visit one of the grocery store websites listed below

• Select the amount you want to donate ($70 typically provides one week’s worth of basic pantry items for one refugee)

• Type the name of CRIS’ Community Resource Developer Flannery Rokeby-Jackson and enter her email address twice: frokebyjackson@cris-ohio.org

• Type “CRIS grocery gram” in the message box and click “add to cart”

• Complete the purchase by clicking “proceed to checkout” and entering your payment information

Flannery receives the digital gift card via email and can use it immediately for a family in need. You can also drop off or mail physical gift cards from any major grocery store to our office at 4645 Executive Drive.
