March Good Neighbor Training

  • Community Refugee & Immigration Services 4645 Executive Drive Columbus, OH, 43220 United States (map)

Attending a Good Neighbor Training is the first step to becoming a CRIS volunteer. Offered monthly both virtually and in-person, the Good Neighbor Training is a two-hour information session led by CRIS staff members. This training will cover the basics of the current and historical context of refugees in the United States and why it is important to support our new refugee neighbors. The training also covers some of the local and national challenges that refugees currently face while working towards self-sufficiency and integration.

The mission of the Good Neighbor Training is to increase awareness about the contributions of refugees in Central Ohio and to provide a guide to building relationships with and supporting our new American neighbors in our everyday lives.

The next Good Neighbor Training is on Sunday, March 1st, 2026, from 2-4 PM. If you plan to attend the March Good Neighbor Training (virtually or in person), please complete the form below.
