CRIS 30th Anniversary Story | Taq

Taq, who served with USAID in Afghanistan, came to the U.S. in 2015 under the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program. After starting from scratch in Columbus—learning to drive, securing employment, and adapting to a new culture—he’s now giving back through his work as a part of the CRIS staff. In this video, Taq reflects on the personal and professional journey that brought him here.
