What We Do

Reduce barriers standing between Limited English Proficient (LEP) victims of crime and the Franklin county justice system.

The program regularly offers the following services:

  • Assisting victims during the court appearance and other activities related to the criminal justice system
  • Community outreach efforts to educate communities about available services
  • Community events and presentations
  • Actively collaborate with other victims’ assistance organizations to create awareness about victims’ rights and participation in the justice system

Currently the program has three staff with language capacity speaking Amharic, Tigrinya, Nepali, French, Lingala, Kikongo, Swahili, and Thai languages.
